Pope Benidict could face charges if he visits London in Septemeber of 2010.

Lawyers in Britian are considering if Pope Benidict is rightfully "immune" to been prosicuted for the sex abuse scandels that are comming out against the Catholic church. There is no evidence that Pope Benidict commited any sex crime but he was a high ranking bishop at the time some of the crime's took place....So it is believed that he might have covered them up.

These Lawyer's point out that just because the Vatican is an independent state doesn't mean it has the right to put itself above the law...Other's go as far as to say the Vatican isn't an independent state.
With one newspaper saying it was created by Mussolini ("Rome-Berlin axis") and doesn't really count.

Other's say there are no real charge's against him and he should be allowed go to England. Over 10,000 British citizens have signed a pertition on the downing street website demanding charges against him if he comes on a visit that would cause the British tax payer over £25 thousand altogether.

This writer feels that the Pope deserves to be sacked or even jailed for his help in covering up outrageous sex abuse scandels in Britian, Ireland and other countries.
The Pope obviously along with the higherarchy in the catholic church doesn't care for victims of sex abuse....He is to busy palying God's cheif propaganda minister on earth.

  1. I hope that guy is charged for covering up sexual abuse. But really, who is going to arrest the Pope? How many Catholics would be pissed? I doubt anyone has the balls to stand up to that guy because he has so much power.
