Nigerian man charged with trying to blow up US plain.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab a 23 year old Nigerian man was arrested today (St. Steven's day/boxing day) after apperantly trying to blow up a US airliner on Christmas day. Abdulmutallab's father a banker in Nigeria said he feared his son who had left to go to London and then travel the world was the one responsalbe for the unsuccseful attempt.
Abdulmutallab insists that he was contracted by Al'Queada to try and blow up the plain over US soil but this has not been confirmed as of yet.
According to withness's on the plain, the suspect claimed to have an upset stomach while throwing a blanket over his face and then smoke could be smelt and a crackaling noise like fireworks could be clearly heard, a few passengers went and taclked him puting out the fire (which was a failed explosive).
The explosive material used is supsected to be that of
PETN. The Universaty of London said that a student named Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab
stuided with them from 2005 till 2008 or so.
But they have not said if this is the same man as on the plain.
I hate to say it but if the US weren't so aggressive and brutal towards other countries then indivuals like Abdulmutallab; would have less motivation to commit/attempt acts of terorr.
Abdulmutallab's bomb attempt was bad and could have resorted in hundred's of deaths but at the sametime it is MUCH WORSE what the US goverment is doing. Their actually giving people motivation to hate them because of their impreaialist expansion.

Happy Christmas to all.
the title says it all happy Christmas to all and a happy 2010 (hopefully).
I'd say peace on earth except there isn't (thanks to America/'the good guy's').
I feel we should all try and get along, all classes and all races.
Capitalists might call this a utpoian idea and nothning more.
Communists might call this a threat to the working class and nothing more.
Socialists might side with communists.
and Fascists might bash all ideas
while Anarchists might disagree with the fascists.
but in the end of the day...All these groups are (if we like it or not that includes myself) human. if we can't get on with each other politicaly then what about with other things then politics all my friends have different views then me one's a Thatcherite the other 'gunibable' (pro-capitalist) and the other a national-socialist (NOT a nazi but a nationail socialist/which nazism corrupted she and I both believe). And yet I love all of them.
Now I still hate capitalism and communism (and I'm not going to stop my American bashing anytime soon) but we should all at least try to be slightly less antagonistic to each other (maybe now and again I'll say a postive thing about America) like Stephen Sondhein is American and he revolutionaized musical theatre.....

CIA jails (camps) found in Lithuania.
The Centrel intellegence agencey (CIA)
have from 2003-2006 been opperating jails (concentration camps)
in the European country of Lithuania - it is believed that some 'dangerous terrorists' have been healed in these jails some possibly been tortured and none given fair trials.
in 2004 the prime minister of Lithuania was ousted when the CIA claimed that he had 'ties' with the Russian Mafia but sense that ex-prime minister has come out and said the real reason he was sacked was because he 'refused' to go along with the CIA prisons.
The next prime minister and his parlimeant where not informed about the camps (so they say) until a parlimeantry probe found out about them today. Insted the CIA worked hand in hand with the intellegence agencey of Lithuania going behind the back of the Lithuanian parlimeant.

German SPD to oppose 'troop serge' in Afhganistan.
The German SPD (Social-democratic party) said on Sunday in a statement to the press that it would split all ties with the leading conservative goverment which it has been in a coalition with for 4 years, if the goverment increases the number of troops in Afhganistan (which it is likely to do).
For the last four years the SPD has supported the war in the middle east but now it says Germany (which is the third larges provider of troops in the middle eastren country trailing behind England and America only) has to concentrate on it's own economic sitiuation and people.
The SPD alone would not be able to force any radical change to the ceasing of the war effort but if it managed to unite with other oppostion parties then the German conservative goverment might be forced to reconsider a tropp incrase in the middle east.
At this stage Germany has around 4,4000 troops in Afhganistan.
The limit is around 4,5000 which parlimeant has to finalize.

Michael Collins: an Irish legend (insperation for anti-imprealisim)
I'm going to show you the link for part 1 of a BRILLIANT dramatized biographaical Irish film called "Micahel Collins" it tells the story of the great revolutionary and statesman Michael Collins who fought to free Ireland from English imprealistic rule. (1916-1922).

Collins used violent methods (sadly) to get rid of the English but they where needed at the time and it did work to an extent, he was one of the main men responsalbe for bringing an emprie to it's knees.

Iran devloping atom bomb sense 2007?
according to a British newspaper (which automactily throws the claim into doubt - I'll explain later) Iran has been devloping and testing key parts of an atom bomb sense early 2007 at the earliset.
This goes against the Iraian claim that their nuclear plants are purely for the benifit of the Iraian population.
the IAEA (International atomic energecy agencey) in the past few months has sent inspectors into Iran based on American (are you suprised?) claims that Iran has been devloping nuclear missioles, the Irianian goverment have insisted this is not true.
Israel (America's friend) has said that (if) Iran is bulding an atomic bomb it might take millitary action against the islamic-republic as it would see the devlopment of such a weapon as a threat to their jewish state. No doubt the westren powers have it in their best intrests to invade Iran bent on the determatnion to bring "freedom" to the Irianian people and set up "democray's".
This newspaper source might be taken seriously if it wasn't for the fact that recently Great Britian has been getting into diplomatic difficulites with Iran and therefor would have a bias against the islamic-state.
So anything an English newspaper publishes is automaticly suspect. Once again it's probably worth mentioning that the IAEA found no evidence of atomic bomb development in the country but did find some nuclear power plants.

Anti-American president (Morales) likely to be re-elected in Boliva
Leftist leaning President Morales is likely to be re-elected today in his country of Boliva, Morales sense his first election vicotry in 2005 has showed an open anti-American attitude towards the rouge impreailistic state (America).
According to early polls Morales is expected to gain 50% of the vote.
With his main oppostion in the election only recveing 20% of the vote.
Morale has nationalized parts of Boliva's economy and has attempted to re-distribute wealth amongts the Bolivan people.
As part of his anti-American stance he has kicked the American Ambassedor out of Boliva banning him from it claming he was trying to de-stabalize his goverment.
While Morales shows a worrying stance of leaning towards 'the dictatorship of the prolatariot'. And harming all other classes, it is good that he is anti-American.
Any anti-American goverment is a friend of mine (sadly that's not a lot of goverments).

Irish news (12)
Minsiter for justice Noel Aerhan today defended and gave his backing to a bill drafted in July of 2009 that would allow same-sex coupeles to register for civic-parthnerships and recive full property and tax rights.
The minister said that he hoped the bill would be in effect by the start of the new year. While the bill has been praised by many some LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) groups have said that the bill "show's the goverment's stance on same-sex marraiges". (The bill does not allow for same-sex couples to be married only civil parthnership). This is despite the fact that 84% of the Irish population believe same-sex couples should be alloud to marry.
Current minister for finance (Brian Lenhian) said that the bill was one of the most important bits of Irish social legislation passed in the last few years.
This is I have to say a large movement forward espically for a capitalist and largely conservative led goverment (Finna fail).
